Torque Power Pack (+£250) - Immediate power directly from the pedals ensures unparalleled torque for maximum energy efficiency – now even over hills and uneven ground. Full Throttle optional add on (+£299) - CURRENT WAIT TIMES 6-8 WEEKS - UK LEGAL (Please note it will take between 2-8 weeks from your order date to have your bike tested by the DVSA and then delivered to you. Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the TTP will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

The use of a full throttle on an electric bicycle is legal in the UK on the condition that the bicycle has been tested, and approved by specific DVSA centres. The correct approval certification must have been issued by the DVSA. The approval certificate must show the bike’s make, model and frame number.

Without the correct certification electric bicycles with a throttle may not legally be used anywhere in the UK where the public has access. This includes private land where a footpath runs across or adjacent to the land.

My husband and I have had our 806 torque bikes for 3 and 4 years. We absolutely love them. We have taken them on holiday in the boot of our car all over the UK and they easily get us up the steepest of hills and even after a 40 mile ride with a few hills the battery is more than half full. We have the 700 wh battery. We did lots of research before buying our bikes and do not regret our decision. If you need a folding bike with lots of power to get up hills I definitely recommend the Wisper 806 with torque and a large battery.
