Full Throttle optional Add on (+ £299) - UK LEGAL (Please note it will take between 6-8 weeks from your order date to have your bike tested by the DVSA and then delivered to you. Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the TTP will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

The use of a full throttle on an electric bicycle is legal in the UK on the condition that the bicycle has been tested, and approved by specific DVSA centres. The correct approval certification must have been issued by the DVSA. The approval certificate must show the bike’s make, model and frame number.

Without the correct certification electric bicycles with a throttle may not legally be used anywhere in the UK where the public has access. This includes private land where a footpath runs across or adjacent to the land.

Great Stuff

I bought two Wisper bikes (M7 & M9) and received excellent customer service throughout. The bikes themselves are very good quality and soundly built. I�m a retired mechanical engineer so I�m able to make a professional assessment. Now in my mid 60s, and with bad knees and back, I thought my cycling days were over, but this bike has opened up a whole new set of possibilities. The torque from the electric motor is excellent allowing me to go further and faster than i ever could on a non electric bike, which is now laying dormant in the garage. If you are contemplating buying an e-bike, I can highly recommend the Wisper bikes.
